Internship - Lead Generation


  • Social Selling - Find the right people:
    1. Work with sales to identify target markets to grow the B2B sales pipeline.
    2. Identify appropriate buyers within the target market with LinkedIn and other tools.
    3. Collaborate with marketing team to develop strong social selling strategies and pilot new techniques for lead acquisition.
  • Social Selling - Engage with Insights: 
    1. Ability to modulate message, tone, and content of marketing materials/ LinkedIn messages/cold outreach based on target’s role and type of industry
    2. Conduct a needs analysis report and determine prospect’s pain points to understand how our client’s solution will address those needs.
  • Sales Support: 
    1. Manage data for new and prospective clients in Salesforce and HUBSPOT, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached.
  • Desired Qualifications:
    1. Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities and/or projects
    2. Positive attitude, detailed and customer orientated with good time management and organizational ability
    3. Driven and resourceful in finding new approaches to ensure his/her message is resonating with potential customers
    4. Experience with and a deep passion for the use of social media
    5. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must!
  • Hours Per Week: Part Time (20 hours per week) or Full Time (40 hours per week).

  • Undergraduate or Graduate students: Undergraduate (Junior or Senior Year)
  • Academic Credit - To receive academic credit, the internship must meet the following:
    1. Work Duties: Students must be doing meaningful college-level work to ensure that students receive a meaningful educational experience and professional mentorship.
    2. Location: Work for internship courses must take place at a supervised off-campus workplace and cannot be completed from locations such as the student's home, a supervisor's home office, or through telecommuting.
    3. Work Time: Students are required to work for 8-10 hours per week for a total of 80 hours.
    4. Internship Length: Since UCLA operates on the quarter system, academic credit can be granted if the internship takes place in Winter Quarter (January-March) Spring Quarter (April to June) Summer (July to September) or Fall (October-December).
